What ages are the programs for?

We run two programs. Money Foundations is our middle school program for ages 11 to 13 and runs for 8 weeks. Money for Real Life is our high school program for ages 14 to 17 and runs for 10 weeks.

Which program is right for my child?

It mostly depends on age and stage. Money Foundations builds core habits like budgeting, saving and banking. Money for Real Life prepares older students for paycheques, credit, taxes, post-secondary choices and independent living. If you are unsure, we will help you decide on the consultation call.

Does my child need any prior knowledge?

No. Both programs start from the basics. Curious students with no experience do just as well as those who already save.

How are the lessons taught?

Through practical lessons, relatable scenarios, games, activities and financial challenges that connect money to everyday life. High school students also work through real-life case studies on income, housing, student debt, insurance and more.

Do you work with families outside Canada?

Yes. We welcome families across North America. Most of what we teach, like budgeting, saving, credit and investing, applies anywhere. Where rules differ by country, such as taxes and registered savings accounts, we will explain on your consultation call how lessons apply to your child.

Will my child need to open accounts or invest real money?

No. Activities use examples and simulations. Any decision about real accounts stays with you as the parent.

Is this financial advice?

No. Finansavi provides financial education only. We teach how money works so students can make informed decisions. We never give personal financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and we never sell financial products.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on the program and format. We share full details, including schedules, on the consultation call.

What happens on the consultation call?

We learn about your child, explain how the programs work, and answer your questions. It is free and there is no obligation to enroll.

The best time to learn about money is before they need it.
